Bring the family for a hands-on day of discovery! Kids (and kids at heart) can climb aboard big vehicles, meet the crews who operate them, and enjoy interactive indoor tech activities—plus a festive Truck or Treat loop perfect for Halloween weekend.
Truck-or-Treat
Pick up a bag and passport at the “Start Here” station outside the airport’s main entrance. Visit stops, collect stamps, and redeem for a prize at the PA&C table. Costumes encouraged! (Children 12 and under.)

- Fire Rescue: Extrication demonstration and medical standby area
- Police: Motors and possible K9 demo (as available)
- Parks & Recreation: Small equipment and the unmanned mower
- Public Works: Ambassador animals, stormwater litter station, “keep truck” display, kayak photo-op & EcoTours info, PW Coloring Board
- Water Utility: Educational, hands-on displays
- Airport & Partners: Aviation displays, boating safety, and (operations permitting) the TGH helicopter

Parking: Free on-site parking with guidance from Explorers; follow event wayfinding.
Wayfinding: A marked walking loop and directional signage make it easy to see everything.
Safety: Demo areas will be coned off; please supervise children closely.
What to Bring: Sunscreen, comfy shoes, and your camera. Treat bags and passports provided at check-in.
