Celebrate the holiday season with Winter Haven’s cherished tradition—the annual Christmas Boat Parade! Watch as a dazzling fleet of festively decorated boats light up the Chain of Lakes with creativity, holiday spirit, and community cheer.
The parade begins in Lake May at 6:30 PM and will travel through Lake Howard before making its way across Lake May into Lake Shipp, circling counterclockwise, and returning to Lake May to conclude. The event is led by the Winter Haven Police Department, with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office marking the parade’s end.
Whether you’re joining the parade with your decorated boat or enjoying the view from shore, this event promises a magical evening for all ages. Lake Shipp Park offers one of the best viewing areas for spectators.
There is no cost to participate, but boaters are encouraged to register in advance to help with planning and safety coordination.
