The City of Winter Haven invites you to join us for our Annual Juneteenth Celebration on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at the Winter Haven Recreation & Cultural Center.
This community-wide event honors the historical significance of Juneteenth while celebrating culture, heritage, and achievements. Attendees can look forward to an engaging and meaningful experience featuring:
- Food trucks and food vendors outside.
- Local vendors and merchants inside.
- Live bands, soloists, dance performances, trivia and more inside.
- Opportunities to enjoy the pool, splash pad, playground and outdoor basketball court.
- Explore the library and technology lab.
- Educational displays featuring historic figures from Winter Haven.
- Opportunities to learn about the history and meaning of Juneteenth.
This year’s celebration will take place at our new Winter Haven Recreation and Cultural Center, offering exciting opportunities to grow and enhance the experience for our community.

Whether you come for the entertainment, the food, the history, the activities or simply to spend time with the community, you will find plenty to experience throughout the day.
The celebration is family friendly and open to all ages.
Please Park at Reuben Williams Sports Complex
A large crowd is expected, and we want to make sure the celebration remains accessible to everyone.
Guests who are able are asked to park at Reuben Williams Sports Complex and ride the City shuttle to the event. Shuttles will run between the sports complex and the Winter Haven Recreation and Cultural Center throughout the celebration.
Leaving the limited parking at the Recreation and Cultural Center available will help ensure guests who need accessible and ADA parking can reach the event safely and comfortably.
